Bridal Shower Prank

Years ago I read about this prank, and tried it on my son's soon-to-be-wife (2 years later they divorced). So my 2nd son is getting married in June, this is what I did.

Get a pair of blue shoes, and a pair of pink shoes (this time I just just used pink and blue booties.

I put of of each of the booties in a plastic box, (the booties we wrapped in tissue paper inside of a clear box.

I then had a friend write on a small card (not shower) THE FOLLOWING

Will it be pink, or
will it be blue,
Invite me to your
baby shower, and you
will receive the other
shoe, and then find out
from whom.

I NEVER SIGNED THE CARD.... I left it blank. I had someone write the verse, so my handwriting wouldn't be recognized. The shower was held at a restaurant, so I put the wrapped booties in a bag from Bed, Bath & Beyond one of the stores they were registered at.

I didn't want to get caught bringing the bag in for the gift table.... so I went to my car, and had one of the waitresses put it on the gift table.

I like pulling pranks on my sons, but don't know if they figured this one out. Can't wait to see their reaction. The shower is 4/28 - two weeks away.
