Computer Prank: slow desktop

I once pulled a prank on my parents where they went on the computer and loaded every thing up. When they tried to use it, the mouse barely moved as they struggled to click on the link they wanted to. This is how you pull it:
First, press the START button and press control panel. If it is not there, move the cursor to the settings tab. Then you should see it. Click on the icon for the mouse (if that's not their, click "view all control panel options", then click on the mouse icon.) The mouse properties box should open up. Click on the tag that says pointer options. It allows you to alter the speed of the mouse. Make the changes that you want, then press apply. It will save all changes. Then shut it down and wait for the victim to use the computer.
